Should I get a Xbox Arcade or Xbox Elite?

It’s my birthday on the 4th of June and since I am turning 13 (a teenager) I was thinking of getting a Xbox 360 as my main present. My parents would definitely rather get the arcade because it is cheaper but the thing that concerns me is the memory. I am not a hardcore gamer so will not need very much memory but will the memory on the arcade be enough for me to save my progress on a couple of games.

If you want to go online then get the Elite. Arcade doesnt have enough memory to play online. And the arcade can only save one game I think, Heard that from the guy at gamestop.

Use Xbox 360 120gb Hard Drive As An External Hard Drive For Your Computer?

I have one of those 120gb xbox 360 hard drives for my xbox that i barely play any more, ive got alot of movies and music on my mac and i was wondering if i could use the hard drive as a storage place for my computer instead of my 360.
i.e. plug it into my computer like a normal external hard drive and acess it through finder

I’m sure it could be done but probably more work than it’s worth. Plus the hard drive does’nt have ports to connect usb or anything like that to the computer (meaning more frustration).

Just spend a $100 and get a 320gb hard drive without the worry.

Or sell the xbox hard drive to me )

Xbox 360 Help please?

hey, I bought 360 Pro two weeks ago, and found that the elite 360 to $ 299. I have all packaging original and shit so I'll return it for store credit, then buy the elite when the price drops, probably later this month. My question is: can you get anything you have purchased the original hard disk on a separate page 360?. because I bought a couple of songs, videos and three, and if I go back. I have to delete all content the hard disk. Thanks for your help advanced!

I think that everything you buy on Xbox Live will be linked to your Xbox Live account, so if you recover your gamertag your new box, then you will able to download everything again who bought earlier. I did it with videos before, where I just transfer my real memory card and then used to download to my friends when I was an Xbox instead. But the video is performed only when connected to my Xbox Live account.
