xbox elite blue ray player
Now that the Xbox Elite and the PS3 Slim are just $299, which one should I get?
I was planning on getting an Xbox Pro for $299 to play The Beatles: Rock Band and Halo 3/ODST. But now that the Elite and the PS3 slim are both $299, I have no idea which one to buy. I planned to get the Xbox to play Halo online with the rest of my friends, but now, like I said, I’m at crossroads. I realize the PS3 has Blue-Ray Player, but I just get normal DVDs and I never really watch ‘em. I heard something about the PS3 that is rechargeable, unlike the Xbox. Also, I don’t have Wifi, but I was planning on using Broadband Comcast. Is it possible with both systems>? Thx for answers.
well from what you’re saying with all these xbox games you want to play maybe an Xbox is right for you. the Ps3 can use an ethernet cord to connect to the internet actually it’s better to be connected though a cord than wifi. but now that the Ps3 is cheaper i think it would be wiser to get it. if you’re willing to sacrifice those games than you should definitely get a Ps3. the Ps3 is more powerful and no matter how many exclusives the xbox claims only a handful are good (like wise for any console). in reality most games are for both consoles any company that wants to maximize its profits will put all there blockbuster titles for both consoles. the only reason exclusives exist is because sony or microsoft signs a contract with the game developers and pays them to make up for lost profit. the Ps3’s price was the main reason it hasnt been doing good now that its cheaper there’s no reason not to get one. Here’s a list of some exclusives coming out or already out for Ps3: Heavy Rain, Killzone 2, Resistance 1 and 2, little big planet (its pretty addicting), inFamous, MGS4 ( not for long though but will always be better on Ps3 ports normally lack quality) about the rechargeable question im not sure it shouldnt affect your decision to much i mean its plugged in mos of the time anyway.
