xbox halo edition console best buy

What price do you think I should sell my Xbox 360 for?

have:
Xbox 360 pro with HDMI compatible version
Best Buy two year warranty recently purchased (unlimited replacement in store just swap for one off the shelf)
Xbox live (doesn’t have my credit card info) still has 10 months
Elder Scrolls Oblivion: game of the year edition
Halo 3
Tom Clancy’s Advanced War fighter
Forza Motorsport 2 (comes with all downloadable tracks and cars)
Project Gotham Racing 4
Mass Effect
Fable 2
text thingy (like a little keyboard that connects to the controller)
all original cables, controller and headset
60 GB hard-drive

Im just going to sell it and get a PS3 because lets say three years from now when my manufacturers warranty expires my console will be broken (I am now on my seventh 360) and I can’t afford $50 every year for xbox live and $50-60 every two years for a Best Buy replacement warranty

mabye how much you got it or mabye even more than you paid cuz you get more money or maybe u can do enough for watever you need cuz if it is too much money nobody want to buy it or mabye see who will pay the highset for it

How to Get Rid of Red Ring of Death On Xbox 360 Gaming System Forever

Would you like to learn the steps on how to get rid of red ring of death permanently and stop your Xbox 360 games console from freezing up? Well, something permanent, in the strictest sense of the word, might be unattainable; everyone knows that ultimately, the life of your games console will end. But if what you mean is an enduring resolution, then the answer is yes, there is one.

The red ring of death (otherwise generally known as the RRoD) is a typical issue in Xbox 360 games consoles. It is so called due to three flashing red lights that will become visible on the power button. This is an indication that your console is either not receiving enough power supply or there is a notably more serious problem which can be internal or a hardware-related one.

As outlined by most Xbox games console customers, the regular types of internal faults which trigger the dreaded red lights to show are overheating or dirt inside the graphic processing unit or GPU and central processing unit or CPU.

A method of stopping red ring of death from appearing would be to make sure that both the GPU and CPU within the motherboard is correctly cleaned. You are able to do this with the use of rubbing alcohol.

First, you must undo the casing and take out the motherboard. Remember to work on each stage with care and slowly in order to avoid damaging the games console. When  you have removed the motherboard, you will observe the X-shaped clamps. Using a flat screwdriver, remove these clamps and the heat sinks below.

Using a pliable cloth or perhaps a cotton bud, cleanse the silver-colored chips (CPU and GPU) after the heat sinks have been taken out. Do a thorough job of cleaning them up until they shine, after that use an even quantity of Arctic Silver Five thermal paste on the processor chips. Do not reassemble the device right after you’ve finished this, wait for twenty minutes before you put the entire thing back together again.

An additional approach which has been tested by several Xbox 360 games console owners is to make sure that the unit is given enough airing to avoid overheating. One valid suggestion is to keep it within a well-ventilated room or use an outdoor fan to deliver a cooling source when the console is switched on.

Methods on how to get rid of red ring of death on a permanent basis on your Xbox 360 console may be as straightforward as keeping your Central Processing Unit and GPU clean or could very well be as complicated as fitting a new internal fan. In any event, you need to be careful because your strategy might bring more damage than solution.

how to fix xbox controller port

XBOX 360 won’t turn on because of USB?

My XBOX 360 Elite doesn’t turn on anymore… =(

This is what happened:
My cousin decides he wants to play, so he makes me get him a controller (wired). When I plug it into one of the 360 USB ports (in the front), it gets stuck. Apparently, I plugged the controller in the wrong way and pushed hard (not too hard though). When I took the USB out, a little piece came out with it (about the size of an SD card). So, I turn the 360 off and it never turns on again. How could a little USB port thingy break a whole XBOX 360? I thought that just the USB port would be broke, not the whole 360…

So, can you tell me what’s wrong with it and how to fix it? Please and thank you!

First off check to see if everything is plugged in. Then try to turn on your xbox by both a controller and on the xbox (pulling it out could of also pulled out the faceplate so the button isn’t centered). If that doesn’t work i would send it into MS and pray it is still under warranty.
